The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is providing assistance to the City of Fresno to acquire and redevelop abandoned or foreclosed properties that might otherwise become sources of blight. Through this Program, the City proposes to stabilize neighborhoods, affected by the high incidence of abandoned and foreclosed homes, by facilitating the resale of these rehabilitated homes to eligible, owner-occupied, low, moderate and middle income families

The Agency received an allocation of $800,000 in NSP funds from the City of Fresno to acquire, renovate and resell a minimum of 11 foreclosed or abandoned homes.
